Hand Crafted Jewellery
Bruce Young began his craft in New Zealand where he owned a Gallery
selling jewellery, pottery, clothing etc.


Making some leather pieces for stock he found that this was to slow
and not very rewarding so he turned his talents to jewellery,

instantly he knew this was his niche and has continued on for twenty years
selling to Galleries in Melbourne - Victoria, Interstate
and at Crafts Markets throughout Australia.


He has also enjoyed teaching, passing on his knowledge to many students.

Choosing a career with balance and real feeling of creativity is important to him
and he continues to gain satisfaction when completing each decorative piece.

His fascination of leathers and varied qualities

John Adeney
Wood Turning

John had been a Teacher for many years with Victorian Education Department.
After his retirement from the Education system he turned his interest
to the beauty of timber, turning bowls, plates etc.

His fascination in this craft to turn rough-sawn green timber
through each stage of shaping to the beautifully grained and finished product
made him one of the best Wood Turners in Australia.

Emil Hafner
Coin and Medal Engraving

Emil can turn any metal into a perfect work of art. Working in steel,
copper or brass and designing each project to the finest detail.
The tools for carving are specially design by himself.
His quality workmanship is one of the finest in the world.

He graduated in 1948 at the Art and Trade College- Czechoslovakia.
Between 1948 and 1952 Emil concentrated on gun engraving
and die sinking in Germany and England continuing
in Australia with K.G. Luke and later with the House of Hawke,
while part - time teaching at Royal Institute of Technology for nine years.


Finally establishing his own company " Hafner Mint Manufacturing."
specialising in high quality medals for special occasions, Numismatic Clubs etc.

from design, cutting, engraving, stamping etc.

Stained Glass

Keith studied at the Melbourne School of Arts for five years.
Learned stained glass techniques under Peter Bohne ( a fine craftsman ).

In 1944 Murielle commenced studies at
" Sybil Nichols School of Floral Art," Melbourne Australia.


On completion of course stayed on as junior assistant.
During her career Murielle worked with various leading florists among those

" Adrien's of Collins Street, and Holdsworth of South Yarra "

involving her in the full range of floral requirements for
Royal Receptions, Foreign Embassies, National Day Celebrations,
Private Social Functions, Society Weddings,
Presentation Tributes for Leading Theatrical Performers etc.
